Lambert's Pure Evening Primrose Oil with Starflower is a supplement based on borage seed oil enhanced with GLA enhanced concentration

Evening primrose oil is a natural source of γ-linoleic acid (GLA). Articulated with borage oil, it provides a much higher GLA concentration than the simple Pure Evening Primrose Oil formula. GLA can and is produced endogenously from linoleic acid an omega-6 fatty acid found in vegetable oils.

GLA is a precursor of prostaglandin PGE1. Prostaglandins are hormones that control and regulate a wide range of biological processes, including vasodilatation, vascular permeability, platelet aggregation, inflammation.
