Dwarf palm - Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens):

Pharmacological studies demonstrate that this plant, a small palm tree native to North America, has antiandrogenic, antiproliferative and anti-inflammatory activity. The antiandrogenic action is due to its ability to inhibit the activity of 5 alpha-reductase, the enzyme that transforms testosterone into dihydrotestosterone, the hormone responsible for prostate enlargement.

In terms of symptoms, there are some improvements such as an increase in the urinary stream, a reduction in the average number of nighttime and daytime urinations and a reduction in urinary residue and pain when urinating.

Saw palmetto, unlike the drugs most used to treat BPH, has no adverse effects on sexual function, as it does not reduce potency or sexual appetite. Saw palmetto is well tolerated, has well demonstrated clinical efficacy and significantly improves the quality of life of patients with H. B. P.

Pygeum africanum:

This plant inhibits the activity of the enzyme T5-b reductase, which stimulates the increase in prostate size. Pygeum africanum also inhibits the inflammatory enzymes lipoxygenase and oxygenase. It acts as an anti-inflammatory and diuretic, which reduces swelling and inflammation of the prostate.

Aged Garlic Extract (E. A. E. ):

One of E.A.E.'s main compounds, S-allylmercaptocysteine (SAMC) has been shown to inhibit the growth of human prostate cancer cells by up to 70% in vitro. Treatment with SAMC can significantly reduce PSA levels, considered the marker of prostate cells. E.A.E. has also been shown to increase the activity of immune system cells, which can eliminate cancer cells.

Lycopene:

It is a carotenoid from the same family as beta-carotene that gives vegetables their red color. It is a powerful antioxidant that fights free radicals that cause inflammation in prostate tissues. It is predominant in the prostate gland, testicles and adrenal glands. Some studies report that there is an association between diets rich in lycopene (based on tomatoes and their derivatives) and a reduction in prostate cancer.

Pumpkin Seeds:

Its oil contains essential fatty acids that are useful for maintaining prostate health. They improve urinary flow, reduce frequency and urinary residue. It has anti-inflammatory properties and a revitalizing effect on the prostate gland. They act as a stimulant in the production of male hormones.

Zinc:

This mineral is more concentrated in the prostate than in any other organ and helps to strengthen the immune system and suppress damage caused by free radicals by itself, and also by being part of antioxidant enzymes, such as superoxide dismutase. Inhibits the activity of the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme. Zinc also reduces the binding of male hormones to receptors, allowing their excretion to be greater. For adequate prevention and treatment of BPH, zinc supplementation is essential. Zinc reduces the size of the prostate and the symptoms associated with this pathology. Zinc picolinate is the best way to absorb Zinc given its bioavailability.

How to Use

Take one capsule, twice a day, with meals. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake
